Here is the procedure to fix login error.
Brand new fresh install of vSphere ESXi 6.7U1B encountered login issue. It reported incorrect User Name or Password.
To fix the issue, you will need access to the ESXi console. Once you login to the console, access the System Customization menu by hitting F2. Select Troubleshooting Options.
In Troubleshooting Mode Option, select ‘restart management agent’ option.
Confirm restart management agent now.
Proceed to log in again into the ESXi. The issue shall be resolved now.
